Using psychology to design a kickass digital strategy – A masterclass

Are you staying ahead of the game?

In an industry as fast moving as ours, it is essential that we keep up with the latest thinking and ideas. In an industry that’s as young and wild as ours it’s also critical that the ideas we take on board are that that come from genuine testing and experience rather than the false assumptions of those looking for the easy way to gain attention.

Learning from those that are at the forefront of digital marketing thinking is an opportunity to benefit from the marketing professionals that are working with the big brands, that have access and understand the big data and therefore have the big insights into what really works.

The OMN Masterclasses

As part of OMNs continuing mission to add value to London’s digital marketing community we are implementing a series of Masterclasses run by the true movers and shakers, influencers and though leaders of London’s digital scene.

The first of these Masterclasses is going to be held on the 25th September aboard HMS President. It will be an intensive 3 hour session, held by Nathalie Nahai – The Web Psychologist, that will delve deep into the psychology of creating a kick ass digital strategy.

Nathalie Nahai OMN Masterclass

Nathalie is an award-winning speaker, Web Psychologist, and author of Webs of Influence: The Psychology of Online Persuasion.

With a background in psychology, web design and digital strategy, she is one of the few leading voices in this field to have both academic and hands-on experience in engineering online persuasion.

Nathalie helps businesses apply scientific rigour to their design and decision-making processes to achieve better engagement online. Projects include work with Fortune 500 companies, design agencies and SME’s.

Nathalie lectures internationally on the subject of Web Psychology (audiences include eBay, Harvard Business Review and Google), she is a resident blogger at Psychology Today, and contributes to national publications on the subject of online behaviour and research.

She is also a member of #OgilvyChange, a new Behavioural Sciences Practice that utilises the latest thinking in cognitive psychology, social psychology and behavioural economics to create behavioural interventions in the real world.

Starting with an interactive audit (this is the juicy bit), Nathalie will help you analyse your current digital strategy to identify the strengths and target weaknesses.

She’ll take you through and explore the psychological tools and tactics you need to design a kickass digital strategy, including how to:

  • Use your brand to build your persona and reputational capital
  • Convert friends and followers into loyal subscribers
  • Craft irresistible headlines people will want to read
  • Use rapport and trust-building techniques to build trust via social media
  • Engage with trolls (the anti-trolling technique everyone needs)

Tickets are extremely limited, so to take part in this Masterclass, created exclusively for OMN London and learn from a true expert in the field of online persuasion.
